You can't have a dark wide without a light side to counter it. This colorway was inspired by the forces that worked for good in the Star Wars moives. In a six stripe repeat, wide white stripes alternate with narrow stripes of blue and green, representing the most common colors of the Jedi lightsaber blades, as well as a narrow stripe of brown, for the color of the Jedi cloaks.
The second picture below is a representation of how this colorway may stripe when knit into a sock sized garment.
It was dyed up on our Bedazzled fingering weight base, 438 yards of a stunning 75/20/5 superwash Merino/nylon/stellina blend. Stellina is a soft, fine silver fiber that adds a delicate sparkle to this yarn, like tiny stars embedded in the fiber. 6.5 - 8 stitches per inch on US 0-2.
Recommended care: Though this is a superwash wool and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
