We are happy to be able to offer three kits featuring patterns from Sarah Jordan's recently published "Stitchburgh" pattern collection and Fibernymph Dye Works yarn, which she used to knit the patterns the have offered here. These kits are priced at a 20% discount over what the patterns and yarns would cost if purchased separately.
The Duquesne Incline is an iconic sight in Pittsburgh, its red cars gently scaling the side of Mount Washington as they take riders to the observation deck at the top for a breathtaking view of downtown.
This double-knit cowl is fully reversible, giving you options for how to wear the cowl, and the double thickness of the fabric provides extra warmth.
If you've never done double-knitting before, this is a perfect piece to try it out with!
In this kit, you will receive:
- Two full semi-solid skeins of our Bona Fide DK weight base (100% SW Merino, 231 yards) one each of Vivid Violet and Peacock Blue.
- Coupon code to download Incline's Ascent pattern from Ravelry at no additional cost to you.
The second photo below shows samples of the cowl as it was knit for the collection. The yarn colors may be different than what is being sold in this listing.
Recommended care: Though this is a superwash wool and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
