We are happy to be able to offer three kits featuring patterns from Sarah Jordan's recently published "Stitchburgh" pattern collection and Fibernymph Dye Works yarn, which she used to knit the patterns the have offered here. These kits are priced at a 20% discount over what the patterns and yarns would cost if purchased separately.
Andy Warhol was a world-famous pop art icon, but he got his start in Pittsburgh. This design is inspired by some of his well-known silk screen prints, and the name is a play on his quip that, “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.”
This cowl is knit seamlessly in the round, beginning with a provisional cast on. When the whole cowl has been knit, the provisionally cast on stitches are placed onto a spare needle and grafted with the end stitches for a seamless tube.
In this kit, you will receive:
- Two full skeins of our Bounce fingering weight base (80/20 SW Merino/Nylon, 400 yards) - one a semi-solid in Soft Black, the other a self-striping in Fervent Fjord.
- Coupon code to download the pattern from Ravelry at no additional cost to you.
The second photo below is a sample of the cowl as it was knit for the collection. The yarn colors may be different than what is being sold in this listing.
Recommended care: Though this is a superwash wool and can be machine washed, we recommend hand washing in cool water and then air dry flat.
All of our yarns and fibers are individually hand-dyed using professional grade acid dyes. Colorway names are consistent between yarns/fibers dyed with the same dye colors, however color strengths can (and likely will) vary between skeins and between different bases.
We make every effort to assure the colors in our photos are as accurate as possible, but please note that colors can vary from monitor to monitor.
